It wouldn’t be a complete Parker’s Record list without a good shuffle groove and we’ve got just that for you with this 45 from Levert Allison. Levert spent most of his career in the Nashville, TN area and was heavily influenced by the church scene. Although Levert didn’t reach quite the same fame as his brother, Gene, his talent is undeniable. In addition to his solo career, Levert is also known for his work with the gospel group, Dynamite Dixie Travelers.
